Due to the time-sensitive and customized nature of our services, all sales are final once work has begun on your order. This includes, but is not limited to, apostille services, remote online notarizations, mobile notary appointments, document preparation, certified translations, and expedited processing services.

No refunds will be issued after work has started, documents have been reviewed, processing has begun, appointments have been scheduled, or services have been rendered.

If an issue arises with your order, we are committed to working with you in good faith to resolve the matter. In the event an error is determined to be caused by Beaches Notary and Apostille Service, we will correct the error at no additional cost to you.

Refunds may only be considered if:

• The issue cannot reasonably be corrected or resolved; and 
• The error was directly caused by Beaches Notary and Apostille Service. 

Refunds will not be issued for delays, rejections, or issues caused by:

• Incorrect, incomplete, or inaccurate information provided by the client; 
• Government agency processing delays or rejections; 
• Third-party carrier delays, lost packages, or delivery issues; 
• Changes in destination country requirements; 
• Client cancellation after work has begun; 
• Failure to provide required supporting documents. 

By purchasing services through our website or booking an appointment, you acknowledge and agree to this refund policy and terms of service

• All fees for notary, apostille, wedding officiant, and translation services will be clearly communicated with the client prior to the start of the service.  
• Beaches Notary and Apostille Service has the right to charge additional fees for services already quoted in the event of a change of fees by other service providers that we utilize to complete the requested service.  Those service providers may include couriers, shippers, and government agencies.
• Payment for all services is due prior to the start of the requested service.  We accept Cash, Zelle, and Credit cards.  Sorry, checks are not accepted.

• All translations are performed by Certified Translators and are guaranteed to be accurate and complete.  
• You will receive a notarized certificate of accuracy for Certified translations with your translated document.  The certified translation can then be apostilled if needed.
• Sworn translations are completed by certain foreign government recognized translators registered with those countries.  In contrast to certified translations, these translations do not need to be notarized or apostilled for use in those foreign countries.  
• Once your translation order has commenced, refunds will not be honored.

• Electronic notarizations are conducted in compliance with the State of Florida laws and recognized by most states in the US.  
• It is the responsibility of the client, to verify whether the receiving party will accept an electronic notarization and signature.  
• The notary reserves the right to refuse service at their discretion, in particular, if the client is showing signs of being mentally impaired, showing signs of being under duress, the client does not understand what they are about to sign, or suspicion of acting in a fraudulent or illegal manner.

• The client is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and legality of any and all documents submitted to us for notarization, apostille, or translation services.
• Any errors or omissions in the document(s) may result in processing delays, rejection by government agencies, and/or additional fees.
• The client is responsible for understanding the requirements and regulations of the receiving party regarding apostilles, translations, and notarizations.

• We offer alternate domestic and international shipping using FedEx, UPS, and DHL.  We are not responsible for any delays, damages, losses that may occur during shipping by the carrier.  We will however provide you with a tracking number to monitor the location of your document.  
• The typical shipping time-frame for international shipping can vary from 3 to 5 business days, however additional customs delays can occur.
• The client will be responsible for additional international shipping costs, which is calculated based on the weight and destination of the package.  There may also be customs duties, taxes, and other fees that are imposed by the destination country.
• The client is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of the shipping address.  Errors due to incorrect shipping address provided will result in additional shipping charges to you. 

• We can obtain apostilles for all 50 states, however, the fees may be different from the Florida apostille fees as well as the processing time-frames.
• We are not responsible for the compliance of Non-Florida notarizations that are submitted for apostilles in other states.
• We are not responsible for delays or rejections by government agencies.  We will however make diligent efforts to help with resolving any issue that may arise due to their delay, rejection, or error, and may come at an extra cost to you.

• An appointment is required and must be scheduled at least 2 hours in advance.
• There is a minimum travel fee of $100.00 which depends on the distance, time of day, and location of the appointment.
• The notary reserves the right to refuse service at their sole discretion, including but not limited to situations where the client appears mentally impaired, does not fully understand the document being signed, or exhibits behavior that suggests fraud or illegal activity. 
• The minimum travel fee of $100 will apply if the notary arrives at your location and the notarization cannot be completed due to circumstances caused by the client.
• There is no cancellation fee if your scheduled appointment is cancelled or re-scheduled at least 24 hours in advance.
• There is no re-schedule fee if you re-schedule at least 24 hours in advance.
• A cancellation/re-schedule fee of $25.00 will apply for Same-Day cancellations & re-schedules.

• Processing times and fees vary depending on the type of document, the destination country, and the processing time-frames of the state of the apostille request.
• We are not responsible for delays or rejections by government agencies.  We will however make diligent efforts to help with resolving any issue that may arise due to their delay, rejection, or error, and may come at an additional cost to you.
• If your document will be used in a country that is NOT a party to the Hague apostille convention, the processing time-frame will increase as well as the cost.
• Standard processing for FBI background check apostilles typically takes 5+ weeks.
• Our expedited processing service is estimated at approximately 10 business days for processing, plus an additional 2 business days for shipping and delivery. For expedited orders, business days are defined as Monday through Thursday only. Fridays, weekends, and holidays are not considered processing business days for FBI apostille and Federal apostille submissions.
• Please note that all processing timeframes are estimates and are subject to change without notice due to delays or changes involving government agencies, shipping carriers, weather events, or other circumstances beyond our control.

• Beaches Notary & Apostille Service is not liable for delays or issues caused by events beyond our control.  This includes natural disasters, government actions such as embargoes, sanctions, new laws or regulations, and delays, labor disputes & strikes, pandemics and epidemics, acts of war and terrorism, shipping carrier issues and delays, or any other unexpected events.  If such a situation occurs, we will notify you as soon as possible and do our best to minimize the impact.  Please note that some solutions may result in additional costs to you. 

Beaches Notary and Apostille Service accepts major credit cards as a form of payment for services, including Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. By submitting your credit card information, you authorize us to charge the card for the agreed-upon service fees, including any applicable taxes or additional charges disclosed at the time of service.

All credit card transactions are processed through secure, PCI-compliant payment processors to protect your personal and financial information. We do not store full credit card numbers on our servers.

In the event a transaction is declined, incomplete, or reversed, you remain responsible for providing an alternative payment method to ensure completion of service. By using a credit card for payment, you also agree not to submit fraudulent chargebacks. Any disputed charges must first be addressed directly with Beaches Notary and Apostille Service so we may attempt to resolve the matter promptly.

Beaches Notary and Apostille Service reserves the right to refuse service or delay processing if payment issues arise or if fraudulent activity is suspected.

By submitting documents for apostille services, translation services, or notary services, the client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions and accept full responsibility for the accuracy, completeness, and legality of the documents and for meeting all requirements for the apostille process. Any discrepancies not due to the fault of Beaches Notary & Apostille Service will be at the expense of the client.
