An apostille is an official government certificate that verifies a document’s notarization for international use. It confirms that the signature and seal on your document are authentic so that the document will be recognized in other countries under the Hague Apostille Convention. It's essentially an "international notary"
If you’re using documents abroad (e.g. birth certificates, marriage licenses, contracts), an apostille proves those documents are authentic. Countries that are members of the Hague Apostille Convention require it. In short, an apostille ensures your US documents are legally accepted overseas.
A mobile apostille service means a notary comes to you to handle your documents. We will notarize your documents onsite (in-person or by mail if already notarized) and then send them to our local partner in Tallahassee to be apostilled. Once apostilled, we deliver them back to you. This door-to-door service saves you time and the expense of travel.
The fastest way is to use an expedited service. Upload a clear color copy of your document before 11am EST Monday through Friday, and we can often process the apostille same day, with overnight delivery the next day. Without expediting, it can take 30 days via mail.
Yes. Apostilles must come from the state where the document was issued. We work nationwide, so even if your document is from Texas, New York, or California, we coordinate with that state’s Secretary of State. We also handle Federal apostilles (e.g. FBI background checks) in about 10 business days.
Not at all. Our mobile service collects or receives your documents, notarizes them if needed, and sends everything to our partner office near the Florida Secretary of State. We handle the process so you never have to travel to Tallahassee, saving you time and the possibility of your document being rejected.
In Florida, only the Department of State (Division of Corporations) can issue apostilles. You could mail documents directly, but it will take about 30 days. For speed, use an apostille agent like us. We expedite Florida apostilles in as few as 3 business days.
The Florida fee is $10 per document ($20 for certified copies); other states have similar fees. Expedited services add convenience and courier fees. Expect about $185–$350 for standard vs expedited service overall. Our fees cover government fees, processing, and overnight shipping.
Use an expedited apostille service rather than doing it yourself. Going solo takes about 25- 30 days right now. We will prepare and submit your documents, sometimes same day depending on the service you choose, and can deliver the apostille in as soon as 3 business days.
Simply upload your notarized Power of Attorney online. We can remotely notarize most POAs now, then submit to the State. From notarization to apostille, it takes about 3 business days. Call us at (561) 421-0866 if you have questions.
It depends on the document type. Vital records (birth, death, marriage certificates) don’t need notarization. Other documents (like Powers of Attorney) do. We can advise and handle notarization if needed.
Yes. We cover every U.S. state and territory. Even if your document is from Texas, Puerto Rico, or California, we coordinate with the proper Secretary of State. We also process Federal apostilles (e.g. FBI background checks) in about 10 business days plus shipping time.
Yes. We apostille diplomas, transcripts, enrollment letters, and other academic documents. This is useful for studying abroad or international admissions. We ensure they meet all state requirements before submitting
Not directly. Florida doesn’t issue e-apostilles yet. However, you can get your document notarized online and then apostilled. With online notarization, we can deliver a notarized document in 1 day and get the apostille and returned to you by the 3rd business day.
Work with a professional apostille service. We handle business documents (like articles of incorporation, articles of organization, certificate of status, and contracts) end-to-end. For urgent needs, we offer 3-day expedited processing. Our team verifies and submits everything correctly to meet your deadline.
Yes. Many countries require apostilled documents for marriage. You’ll typically need apostilles on single-status affidavits, divorce decrees, birth certificates, etc. An apostille ensures those documents are legally accepted overseas.
The standard processing time at the Division of Corporations right now is 25-30 days. Using our service, you can get a Florida apostille in 2–3 business days with expedited processing.
Beaches Notary and Apostille Service can complete a Florida apostille in as fast as 3 business days. We remotely notarize your document and submit it for apostille. If your document requires notarization, we handle that first (online or mobile). Call us at (561) 421-0866 to get started.
Apostilles themselves have no expiration and should be accepted indefinitely. However, some documents require recent certification (e.g. FBI background checks are usually issued within 3–6 months). If you need a “fresh” apostille for things like business certificates or background checks, contact us and we can often get it done in 3 business days for Florida documents or 10 business days for Federal documents.

Often, yes. Countries generally require apostilled documents (like birth certificates, marriage records, naturalization papers, FBI background checks) for dual citizenship. An apostille ensures your U.S. documents are legally recognized abroad. We help prepare these documents efficiently for the apostille.
It depends. Vital records (birth and death certificates) are apostilled on the original document. Diplomas/transcripts require a notarized copy (not the original). Naturalization certificates require a certified copy, not the original. We can advise on each case. Generally, Florida apostilles take 25–30 days; we can do it in 5 or 10 business days if needed.
Typical documents include:
Basically, any official document for use abroad in a Hague Convention country needs an apostille.
Over 100 countries in the Hague Apostille Convention do. Common ones include Mexico, Spain, Italy, Colombia, Argentina, Brazil, Peru, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Chile, Portugal, France, Germany, etc. If the destination country is a party to the Hague Apostille Convention, an apostille is required instead of embassy legalization. If the destination country is NOT a party, full legalization is required.
It depends. In Florida, there are certain documents that cannot be apostille using a scanned copy of the original. Those are vital records, public records, or certified copies of which are available from an official source. An example of this would be a birth certificate, or a certificate of naturalization. Beaches Notary and Apostille Service does however offer apostille services based on the scanned copy of any document including vital records with our non-Florida affiliate partner. That service is our Same-Day apostille service.
