Since this report is going to be used internationally, it is very important to verify with the requesting party which background check is required, the FDLE or the FBI background check. This is key, because if you go through the expense of obtaining an FDLE background check when what was actually required was the FBI background check, you would have wasted not only money, but also time.
➡️VERY IMPORTANT!
When ordering your FDLE background check, you must choose the option labeled: Certified/Non-Certified Search.
In order to get your background check apostilled, it must be the CERTIFIED version. Any other version will be rejected.
Your report results can be sent to you in Spanish and certified, as long as it comes back with a clean report.
Also note that the processing timeframe for this report is approximately 6 to 7 business days.
In order to get an apostille for your FDLE (Florida Department of Law Enforcement) background check for the state of Florida, a request must first be submitted for your background check. Unlike the Federal identity history, also known as the FBI background check, this background check only covers your criminal history for the state of Florida.
Once you have received your Certified FDLE background check, you can schedule an appointment to either drop it off at our West Palm Beach location, or for our mobile document pick-up service. Once received, we will handle the apostille service from there.

Please reach us at info@beachesnotaryservice.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.
No. You must order the Certified background check option. The Instant Search report will be rejected for the apostille.
The cost of our 5-business day apostille service is $299. If you have time to wait, our 30 day apostille service is $199.
The FBI background check is a nationwide background check, whereas the FDLE background check is a Florida state background check.
Once you have your background check in-hand, from there it will take between 4 and 5 business days for you to receive the apostille.
